I am a Hotel Group Sales Manager aspiring to break into the Hospitality tech world as a Front End Software Engineer. I have over 8 years of experience in the Restaurant, Hotel, and Catering industry. Saying I have a passion to help others and build strong customer relationships may be an understatement.
Due to the impact of the pandemic, the Hospitality industry has had no choice but to evolve around the digital world. As a hotel sales manager and huge foodie, it pained me to see local hotels and restaurants not know where to start. It was all a new experience for everyone to transition into a take-out only business or a safe contact-less business in a matter of days/weeks. This lit a spark in me to learn web development to make sure this doesn't happen again.
